Luke 13:7 Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’
Going to cut our Christmas tree today!
For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”
Despite all the pagan traditions that try to pollute the birthday of Yeshua, God the Son, I know why we do what we do. Sure, tree’s were used in idolatry, but in our house, a Christmas tree is simply a tradition we enjoy, to remind us of another, tree, with no branches, ornaments, or outward adornment, but upon which the greatest gift we have ever received, died. His blood shed upon a tree, a cruel cross, His sacrifice, our gift to all mankind.
Jesus is the reason for the Season!
Luke 13 Esther 7, 8 and Psalm 145 are today’s readings!
