1 Tim 4:
1 Now the Spirit [a]expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
NKJV 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
As I joined with the elders and mighty men of Victory Christian Center (victory.com) last week for our morning prayer meeting, we began to pray for President Trump, our election, the USA, and the gospel to the nations, I felt an understanding of this passage of Scripture bubble up inside of me. Men were praying that corruption and electoral fraud be exposed in our current US presidential election, and suddenly I saw the heart of the problem, and more importantly, what can be done to fix it. “because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. “. Somehow, America has lost her first love, the love of the truth therefore the verse goes on to state the consequences of that lack of love of truth: ‘
Since we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
I see clearly what has happened, and how to best pray to properly avert global disaster and satanic domination of the USA through electoral fraud. Clearly, wicked people are not the source of this fraud, but since we are in the last days, 2 Thess 2: NKJV 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish,
The problem is demonic deception, and the cure is not mere exposure of wickedness, but in the next phrase of this verse: “11 And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
Clearly, listening to lying media and lying leaders has allowed deception and eventually will bring strong delusion if the truth is continually rejected.
So then, there is a clear line to be drawn in the sand in prayer for this nation. Our fervent prayer MUST be that God has mercy upon the USA, and grant us a love for truth that will prevent and deliver us from strong delusion.
Can we do that? YES!
Why? And How?
Why? Because just as there are promises of end-time delusion, there are greater promises of end-time revival:
‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, and where He is, there is liberty!
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
So, Holy Spirit alone can grant America the freedom, liberty, and Justice for all we seek. Let’s Cry out for this in prayer, NOW!
‘Father God in heaven, have mercy upon me and my family and grant us light to walk in Your truth, for Jesus is the way, the truth, and our life. In our lives establish us in love with Him, and truth, that we might see the light and life of Your will and Your ways for us, our church, our community, and our nation. Deliver us from all of our delusions, deceptions, and worldly lusts, that we might discover all that is pure, holy, honorable, and right in this generation. Bring Your fire to our lives and burn away our corruptions, and remove the scales from our eyes that we might see and act clearly, living before You in obedience, love, and holiness. I ask, knowing I am heard, for I ask in Your mighty name Lord Jesus, AMEN!”
