Jesus secret to power!
Luke 4
In the wilderness, he prevailed over all the temptations and deceptions of satan himself, stepping fully over into the rule of the kingdom of God.
God our Father released to him power over all devils, because of his obedience, and lack of compromise to any satanic thought.
Jesus was surely intimately aware of the angelic presence with him, or the devil would not have said: 10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
Yet, though he had authority over angels, and they tended to Him, He recognized that all His authority came only from intimate obedience to our Father. He did not err in pride, and try and use His angels to show off, but only did what God our Father told Him.
Yet, if we believe that people are controlled by mind-blinding spirits, without God,
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
And that
Ps 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Could it be that Jesus, coming out of the desert in the power of the Holy Spirit had two wonderful principals instantly operate for Him as He entered Galilee?
Luke 4: 14 ¶ And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
1. Because He had prevailed over satan in the desert, that the actual mind blinding devil that operated over the minds of the people of Galilee, was replaced by the angel of the Lord, influencing people for the kingdom of God, proclaiming Jesus.
2. Because of the anointing and power of God upon Him, that the presence of the Holy Spirit produced supernatural favor, for it is written:
Ps 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
That as He spoke, 32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. (It had to be, it had all the authority of heaven backing it!)
Why? Because He only spoke and did what He heard Father God say, and did what He saw Father God do.
Joh 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Now it’s our turn!
Joh 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Do you want to change the world?
Do you want your life to have eternal impact and consequence?
Seems we need to follow this exact pattern that Jesus followed:
2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
In this passage, we see a similar process to that which Jesus experienced in the desert. We need to renew our minds, and deliberately leave the thinking of deceptive imaginations induced by the same satanic, mind blinding spirits that Jesus faced when He walked the earth.
We must develop, a spirit led life, learning to hear, and instantly obey the voice of our heavenly Father.
2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
As we do, we will discover, just the first disciples did:
Acts 5: 12 ¶ And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.
13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
They were determined to do the will of the Father, just as Jesus had taught them, and would not compromise for the will of devils or men!
32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.
‘They were cut to the heart’ why? Because the Father turned up His power upon His Word, Luke 4: 32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
So, seems that the price of God’s power is not time as some would suggest, rather, intimacy with our heavenly Father, and obedience to what He asks us to do.
2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Warriors arise!
Can you not seek Him today?
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Mt 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
If you seek Him, He will be found of you, and He will speak to you.
John 10: 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
As you hear, and obey what He asks you to do, you will discover the secret to a supernatural, victorious life, where He prepares good works, signs, wonders, and miracles for us to walk in, wherever we are on the planet.
Some people think this was harder now, than then but it is actually easier!
Why?
Well, consider that Jesus faced the total concentrated power of satan, and all his demons while upon the earth.
There are no more devils here, than were upon the earth in Jesus earthly ministry, they have not multiplied in number, nor become more powerful.
Yet we have!
Satan can only be one place at one time, but there are now well over a billion spirit-filled, anointed children of God, all over the earth, obeying Father God, led by Holy Spirit!
That’s why Jesus said:
Joh 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
One of the definitions given of expedient in Strongs concordance is: ‘profitable’.
In other words, it is better that Jesus be in heaven, at the right hand of the Father, listening to our prayer, for the Holy Spirit is here in the earth, and He can be everywhere all at once.
That means that satan has himself a huge headache, and you and I have incredible opportunities to make headlines in heaven, every day, performing the greater works that Jesus said we would do.
It’s now up to us!
Hear and Obey, and see the power of our Father, today!
The prophet Daniel, speaking about the last days, wrote:
Da 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Come on warriors, there are miracles, signs, and wonders to be wrought in the earth today, exploits that make headlines in heaven!

‘Father, what do you want me to do today? Speak to me Lord Jesus, and show me what to do, and where you want it done. Holy Spirit, fill me, lead me, anoint me afresh with Your power, and let’s do the exploits Your word promised I would do, today. I want to make headlines in heaven today, and put a smile on Jesus face, as I live, love, obey, and serve our Father, in passion and power. Amen’
