Mix it with FAITH!

Mix it with Faith!

faith egg
Heb 4: 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
I am a Rhema graduate, taught by Kenneth E. Hagin himself in our classes, (with many other tremendously anointed and appointed instructors at his side). He made the following statement in his ‘Faith, Bible Study Guide’

“Mental Assent vs. Heart Faith
faith mental assent
For example, many people see what God’s Word says and they agree mentally that
God’s Word is true. But they are just agreeing with their minds. But mental agreement
with the Word is not what gets the job done. It is heart faith that receives from God.

That is why the Bible says, “For with the HEART man BELIEVETH…” (Rom. 10:10).
Jesus talked about believing with the heart in Mark 11:23.

MARK 11:23
23 … whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast
into the sea; and shall not doubt in his HEART, but shall believe [in his heart] that
those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he
saith.”

In this information, high tech, intensely Media rich culture that we live in, I find this dynamic to be true. Seems as if we have volumes of knowledge blasting our senses daily, with thousands of television, radio, and internet Media outlets vying for our attention. As we hear and read the news articles and advertisement that would seek to bombard our senses, when quiet, solid, eternal truth is presented, it is often treated the same way as this barrage of Media. Yes, we see and hear it. We even understand it mentally in most cases, but truthfully, we do not actually believe it, because if we did, we would speak and act differently!

2Co 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
faith speaks

The first, and primary action of faith, is to speak, according to these verses. When we actually believe a promise from the word of God, we will speak it, either privately, in secret prayer before the Lord, or publically, when it is appropriate, before people.
This ‘mental assent’, where we mentally agree with the Word of God, but do not speak and act in accordance with what it promises, is an enemy of faith, of God, and of you. You can go through your whole life, exposed to the glorious promises of God, designed to produce for you a life of blessing, love, joy, victory, peace and prosperity, and never actually experience these practically, because of this one enemy: mental assent.

So, how do we combat it?

I quote and excerpt from my newest book, ( http://www.amazon.com/The-Parable-Sower-Kingd…/…/ref=sr_1_1…) in the chapter: Seven Things Confession of the Word of God will Do”

“I have learned a thing over the years, it is this: When faith cometh, you knoweth! Suddenly boldness comes upon your life, and authority, anointing and blessing explodes within you.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Yet, I have also learned this: that there is the confession of faith, and a confession unto faith!
faith voice

Let’s say that there is a promise or area in the Word of God that appears too good to be true, and that is not happening in your life. You can take promises from the Word of God in that area, and deliberately confess them before the throne of grace, and Holy Spirit will hear your voice, and write these upon the tablets of your heart, so that faith cometh.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

We can take the promises of God, and lovingly recite them before Jesus:

Ps 45:1 ¶ «To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves.» My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

When we do, our tongue, our words, become a pen, writing HIStory, His eternal will, on the parchment of time. Holy Spirit then has something to work with. Our words, echoing God’s Word, cause two things to happen:

1. He changes us. Holy Spirit writing His Words upon the fleshly tablets of our hearts.
2. He changes History, as He manifests His Word in the earth, in our generation, creating an eternal testimony from our lives, as He performs His Word on our behalf. He is so merciful, kind, and loving…

We speak, and faith cometh, and when faith comes, promises become testimonies, and problems go…

Today, I want you to pick one thing, to pray and believe God for that thing, supernaturally. Maybe it is something as simple as a new pair of socks. Make it practical, measurable, and demonstrable. Quietly, ask the Father for it, in Jesus name. Choose to believe you receive it, and then thank Him, continually, out loud, every time you think about that prayer request, until it happens.

Then, testify of His faithfulness! Finally, then ask Him for something greater…and keep at it, until your faith is developed enough, to change the nations…

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, show me where I am really at, in my heart’s actual belief in Your Word. Show me, what specifically I need to be asking from You today, and give me ‘special faith’ to believe for it, never letting go of what I believe, until You do what You show me You will do, today. Then, develop me in larger projects, until I fully become the nation shaker, and history maker You need me to be in Your kingdom, in this, my generation, for Your Name and glory’s sake I pray Lord Jesus, Amen!
