October Newsletter

As most of you know, we have completed our 7th trip to the Navajo nation since April. God has done wonderful exploits there, which most of you have followed as we have posted on Facebook.

I plan a very simple meet and greet in November, where we show some pics of some of this years exploits, and share updated vision for some of what we have done, and are planning. Pray I get these next two books published!

Yet, yesterdays battles, and yesterday’s victories though great, are never sufficient for the task of today.

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages)

Hebrews 4:7

Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest] saying through David after so long a time in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts.

So, our obedience to God is only as good as what we are doing, TODAY!

So, each day, I endeavour to do my morning disciplines: Reading the yearly Bible every day, confessing the rather lengthy list of friends before His throne, and then praying the list of Scriptural prayers I have developed that I pray over our family, and yours each day.

In Overview: Here is what we are working on:

Karen is going to attend and help the Women Warriors conference in Shiprock, AZ the end of this month.

I am fighting to publish the two books, that though complete, require edit, upload, and cover design.

We are planning to attend the First Nations of North America meeting on Prayer Mountain with Billye Brim and Kenneth Copeland and many great spiritual leaders, November 4-7, and then trusting the Lord to be able to continue on to Mobile Alabama, to do spiritual mapping with the Choctaw and Spanish:

As usual, with children homeschooling, life is busy. Jay is beginning to take engagements leading worship on keyboard, and it is a joy seeing his gift develop.

Software:/Admin: I need someone to help me insert our new ‘Donation Now’ page on my wordpress blog. I need someone to help grow the Social Media reach. I need someone to help market my books.

Window Rock, AZ

Ron and Tyda Harvey need skirting for the house where we provided roofing materials for last month, and it would be good if someone provided a nice playstructure for the children there.

We still need a water line run from the church to the “Garden of Reconciliation’, and the garden fenced, so that we can put in the garden plots and walkways.

Hidden Springs: Ellson Bennett has believed God for a 20×60’ covered amphitheatre for some of his events.

Hectorville/2Rivers: Instructors Quarters: This is a worthy project. They have it framed, and most of the wiring done. They need: Plumbing, HVAC, Sheetrock, paint, and flooring (trim and doors are there). Any of my contractor friends want to help?

Financial needs:

$800 in overdue bills here at the house.

Shoes and clothes for the children (yep, they are growing)

A/C fixed at home and in the jeep

An IPad and video projector for me to be able to share in leadership meetings

A portable sound system for Jay to play keyboard, 2-3 microphones and a pick up for Karen’s guitar

Garbage disposal replaced under sink, and water filter hooked up.

IPhone fixed. Guess it needs a new screen, digitizer, and camera fixed.
