1 Cor 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
Gifts of the Spirit
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
Notice here, that though we are to seek God for the gifts of the Spirit, they as AS HE WILLS.
Jesus is Lord, not us. So are gifts and callings in the Body of Christ.
There are certain things we can go to God, and in faith believe we receive, others, sovereign acts of heaven, only given in His timing, His way.
We still trust Him and obey, and walk into things He shows us, but try as we might, we cannot speed them up, nor make them happen, for they are AS HE WILLS!
Father, may we hear and obey you today, and gently walk out your plan for us today. Give us grace and patience to walk into the glorious future you have set before us, and to know when we must do certain things in certain seasons. For those of us determined to fulfill heavenly giftings, callings, offices, and anointing s, help us to rest in the fact that these as AS YOU WILL, and that though the vision is yet for an appointed time, to wait for it, as we prepare diligently, day by day. We ask, knowing we are heard, for we ask in Your name Lord Jesus.
