Jesus Can Sing!

Singing with Jesus!

Jesus can sing!

We read of Jesus singing a hymn with his disciples:
Matt 26:30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Yet, this was during His earthly ministry. I’m thinking He sings a whole lot more rowdy than that in heaven, singing praises to our Father!

Heb 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

Rom 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 ¶ Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

Ro 15:9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

Jesus can sing! Yep, He is Lord, Master, Shepherd, but ever considered Him as a worship leader?

Been thinking today about singing along with Jesus as together we worship our Father, in joy and truth. Had a lot of fun watching the sun come up this morning, driving out to Muskogee, singing praises to God with my children!

We all know the story, how Lucifer, who was chief worship leader in heaven, so much so that he had musical instruments built into his very being, and how he erred into pride, and rose up against the throne of God in rebellion with one third of the angels, and was cast out of heaven like lightening, to become satan, the prince of the power of the air. (You can read more about it here if you are interested: https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/11/27/the-origin-and-nature-of-satan/

There is now another before the throne of the Father. One without sin, risen from the dead, alive forevermore. Surely He knows how to lead us in true worship in spirit and in truth!

Come on, at least hum a few bars with me. (Even if you think you sing by letter, open your mouth and letter rip!) Let’s follow our King into worship of our heavenly Father!
