Ever seen someone mad at life?

Proverbs 19:3 (EXB)

People’s own foolishness ·ruins their lives [L frustrates their path],
but in their ·minds [L hearts] they ·blame [rage at] the Lord.

Usually I have discovered that when I scratch beneath the surface, to try and discover why they are angry, they have made decisions against either the Word of God, or the revealed will of God by the Holy Spirit, and they are ticked that they can’t have their own way.

My business partner used to say it this way: ‘Sure the truth with set you free, but first it has to piss you off!’

I used to call it: ‘Get in the truck and scream!’

Excuse the slang, but sometimes angry people are simply in the grip of God. Pray for them, love them, and don’t be moved by their anger…

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, you know my heart, my thoughts, my ways. Not only what I do, but why. Please keep your hand upon me, tighten the reins, so that I will do your will, not mine, no matter how much I’m frustrated about it right now. In Your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’
