Standing Rock…Please Pray!

standing-rock

Please pray for Standing Rock, as protestors are ordered to break camp by Feb 19th.

There is a build-up of law enforcement there and I am trying to understand clearly what is happening:

It was my understanding that President Trump approved the completion of DAPL with 2 key conditions:

  1. The pipeline would be moved 70 miles around native lands.
  2. Higher quality US steel would be used, and higher monitoring equipment installed to ensure safety and non leakage.

Yet, today, I read an article on Facebook from the Standing Rock camp, that stated that DAPL had mobilized more law enforcement and military equipment, and that instead of DAPL rerouting the pipe as had been announced, they were intent on ramming it through the original route.

Is this true?

If it is, I do not fear natives, nor DAPL, but God.

He is very much alive and active in the affairs of men, and He sees, hears, and will act.

I love the USA, and am very excited about the decisions our new President is making, to rebuild this country.

Treachery, lies and betrayal will not get this done.

I would like to understand where the new proposed route is, 70 miles away, and and what is being done to begin construction there, instead of Standing Rock.

Seems simple to me:

I am the son of a military officer. Orders can be given to mobilize troops to remove DAPL from the contested site, and to monitor and help them move construction equipment to the new site, safely so that protestors do not vandalize it (it’s been a long winter..)

Troops can remove law enforcement, and order military equipment to stand down, forcing them to reopen the bridge and road there, formally removing the razor wire and road-block.

At the same time, as an act of goodwill, they might help natives dismantle camp, and clean up the grounds.

Seems simple from the outside looking in…What do you think?
