That the Glory of God be Revealed!

That the Glory of God be Revealed!

That the glory of God be revealed!
John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
In todays reading, we see Jesus healing of the blind man. The disciples, students of Jesus, were trying to learn how to work the works of God, and they had learned one lesson, that sin can cause sickness, pain, and destruction, yet not all sickness and heartache is caused by a person’s sin.
As we walk through this war torn, pain wracked, broken creation, we see the tragedies that have fallen upon often good people. Yes, some are caused by their personal sin, but bad things can happen to good people, not because they sin, but because of the fallen, broken state of creation.
Ro 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
In this groaning of the earth, under the weight of sin in the system, we enter: manifest sons and daughters of the living God, filled and led of His Spirit, endued with His authority, to make wrongs, right.
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
In this, we discover our redemptive privileges and responsibilities. We are the answer the world is waiting for, people who walk like Jesus in the earth, demonstrating His power, His love, His miracles, that alone can truly make wrong things, right. Remember HE is the Creator, able to reach into raw dirt, and the muck and mire of the human condition, to make, like He did Adam, people, perfect.
He wants to do this, through YOU today!
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
There are good works for us to walk in today, supernatural acts of power, to open blind eyes, feed the hungry, heal broken hearted people, to heal the sick, to cast out devils…
We, as always, need to be filled with Holy Spirit, and like Jesus, about our Father’s business…
As we are, expect to see the unfixable fixed, the shattered, recreated, the unforgiveable, forgiven, the unsolvable, solved, for HE is the answer, the One who flung the star into the cosmos, Creator, Great One, can do, in an instant, what we, in a lifetime of labor, can never accomplish…
Let’s pray:
‘Father, we deliberately remember who You are, what You can do, why we are here. Open our eyes, our hearts, to love you and the people you place in my path today. Fill us Holy Spirit, afresh and anew with You, Your person, Your presence, Your power! Demonstrate Your power, mercy, compassion and miracles today, in my life, for Your glory, in Your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen!’
