Happy Easter!

Come See Risen Today

Still time at 11AM and 6PM Tonight!

Luke 22:7 ¶ Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Ever wonder why Easter changes date every year? Well, there are two calendars’ in the earth: our Greco/Roman calendar, and the Jewish calendar. The Jewish calendar only has 360 days, and is highlighted by the 7 festivals and feasts of Israel. On Easter, Jesus became the Passover lamb, slain for the sins of the world. Theologians carefully track the two calendars, and Holy week, from palm Sunday, cumulating in Easter Sunday, is always Passover week on the Jewish calendar, which is why we call it ‘Holy Week’.

Jesus clearly split time in two! From Old covenant to the new, from BC to AD, which is why he drank two cups at the last supper: The first to fulfill the Passover, the second, the communion cup, to implement the new covenant.

It’s all about Jesus, RISEN FROM THE DEAD!

Invite someone to church this weekend!

See you there!

Luke 22, Deut 26, 27 are today’s readings!

Do you know Jesus?

Each day, we seek first the kingdom of God, and this post is designed to encourage you to read through your Bible, daily, each year.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Each day, as we read, we must meet with Him, for He is life!

Knowing Him, is the difference between heaven and hell, healing and sickness, heartbreak or peace, success or failure…

Today, give Him your life, for He is King of the universe.

Ac 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Call on Him today! He loves you!

Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Let’s pray!
“Father God in heaven, I come to you now, and ask that You would forgive me. I choose to believe, that You raised Jesus from the dead, and Lord Jesus, I receive You now. Please come into my life, and fill me with Your presence, plan, and purpose, that I am created to live. Fill me with Your love, and may I obey, and love all those You place in my path, Amen.’
