Anointed to Change the World

Anointed to Change the World

When Godly Leadership shows up…
Matt 2:3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
Notice here, how, when Jesus, God the Son was born, the leadership of the day not only heard about it, but it troubled them. Not only did it trouble the king, but the whole city of Jerusalem.
So, the response of the king, was kill the baby, before it could grow up, and become a threat to his rule.
Yet, God preserved the baby, and countless others were slaughtered, in the wicked kings attempt to stop the true authority of God, from ever manifesting in the earth.
While there is much that can be said here, about you and I, as we grow in our gifts and callings, the point that Holy Spirit keeps rolling around my heart, is this:
THE VERY PEOPLE CALLED TO BRING GROWTH AND LOVING CHANGE TO AN ORGANIZATION, TROUBLE THOSE CURRENTLY IN LEADERSHIP, COMFORTABLE WITH THE STATUS QUO.
AND,
The people currently in leadership, and often the entire organization God is wanting to grow, bless, and increase, will try and destroy the very leader that is called and sent of God, to help them!
Not sure who I am speaking to today, but this is the Word of the Lord for us today.
1. Don’t allow them to kill you, your dream, or your vision.
2. Don’t be afraid to avoid confrontation and controversy as people cuss and discuss you.
3. DO NOT SETTLE INTO THE STATUS QUO!
If you are called to provide leadership, strength, and growth to an established organization, it may well be that you are quite unlike the people currently involved in it. It is your very uniqueness, strength, passion, zeal, and particularly different viewpoint and authentic anointing from God, that brings the most controversy to leadership, and employees alike.
Weather the storm, your presence causes.
Do not get discouraged, defeated, or bitter.
Relax, tension can get so high, that your very presence, produces the proverbial ‘elephant in the room’ syndrome.
Refuse to attack current leadership, nor defend your clearly different mandate than is currently in place. In due season, God will give you a platform to speak, if you quietly pray it out, and wait upon Him.
PRAY! Take your frustrations to God, not people. Complaining will only get you in trouble, and if you are not careful, disqualify you. Tell Jesus about it, weep, pour out your heart to Him if you must. He knows, He cares, and He, and He alone can do something about it.
Let’s pray:
‘Father, I love You, and because of Your great love, I am determined to make a mark on this generation. Cause me to walk in the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, without compromise, fear, or complacency. May I never settle for the status quo, but stay in the press with you, in continued growth of heart, mind, and strength. Show me when to quietly stand in faith, and when it is time to run for my life! Give me courage, patience, grace, and ability to not give up, no matter how I feel, that You Lord Jesus, might find one worthy here, as a reward for your sufferings for me. Amen’
