Everybody is doing it!
Gen 7:21 ¶ And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
Sometimes when we see great portions of the population doing things clearly contrary to the Word of God, we are tempted to go with the flow, and compromise our convictions.
If you are a parent, surely you have had a child confront you with: ‘Everybody else is doing it!’.
Recently had that conversation over certain words that were trying to creep into my children’s vocabulary, that were not clear cuss words, but that I do not allow in this house. Some of their playmates were allowed to use them, and I have no authority as to how other parents raise their children, but as for me and my house, we will fully serve the Lord.
I understand the power of Words, and that life and death are in the power of the tongue. If a word is not edifying, or holy, it will not be heard under my roof, end of story.
This is a small example of a larger principal, ‘Just because everybody is doing something, does not make it right!’ Only eight people on the whole planet survived on the ark, so God’s kingdom is not a democracy.

‘Father, I know you love me, and want only good for me and my house. Help me to walk in truth, without compromise, in Jesus name, Amen,’
