I coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel. You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities, and to those who were with me. In all things I have shown you that by so toiling one must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ (Acts 20:33-35, emphasis added, RSV)

I guess October has been characterized by WORK!

While I have labored these past years in prayer and study of the word, to produce the Bible teachings on the blog, and while these now go out to well over 100,000 people when I write them, we need stable income in this house.

We are still living with the Lyon’s family, as they pioneer ‘Zoe Life Church of Tulsa’, a house church. Sundays are filled with activities as we set-up, tear down, cook, clean, and serve the people of this community. Wonderful to see the impact the Word of God is having in the life of those that attend. It is fun tag team teaching with pastor Richard, as we stay glued on the theme, ‘Living a fully Holy Spirit led life’.

That means living Holy, a rather novel concept in the kingdom of God these days…

So, I am working as a helper in Richard Lyons HVAC business. Rick is very gracious with me, because I know nothing about heat and air, and am only really a driver and an extra set of hands when he needs something lifted or carried.

I see wonderful projects going on.

We did a ‘community clean-up’ day with Cornerstone’s ‘Furniture for families’

furnitureThey had a free dump day, and Keila and I helped fill 2 dumpsters, and take 3 trailer loads of trash to free dump day.

Chris beachIf you are able to donate gently used furniture to help needy families, or can help out on the next work day, please call Miss Lynda 918 378 7851, or if you know a family that needs furniture….

Last week, I was privileged to help install the plumbing rough in for the ‘Roaming Buffalo’ lodge for Dr. Negiel Bigpond in Hectorville, Oklahoma, a part of the Two Rivers Native American Training Center..

They still need HVAC units: https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2015/10/22/donation-request-hvac-units-for-motel-rooms/

While missionaries from Pennsylvania worked doing framing and Sheetrock, I have been on Richards clock learning how to run PEC’s, and drill lots of holes.

Yet, it is good to work and provide for my family, they have suffered much these past couple years, when money did not come, and we found ourselves eating beans, rice, or one of the creative pancake recipes we lived on for over a year.

Now, food is no longer an issue, but fuel, home-school expenses, clothes, and the regular insurance, phone, YMCA passes, have been a real test.

We get so many requests from ministries overseas for valid needs, yet, we must have our own house in order in order to consider them.

Poverty, is clearly part of the curse. Everywhere I see people living in deprivation, children hungry, horrible things happening, simply for lack of basic provision, a holy rage rises up in me against the devils that influence the minds of men controlling money. I am convinced there is more than enough resource to provide quality life to this planet, if selfish people were not so concerned with their own needs, and somehow got a hold of the love of God, and did what they could to share, care, and love others.

The Blessing of Abraham is Still Working!

Well, as I study the Osage History, and continue to love natives, I fight now for my family. We have moved into a one room garage apartment, and it is simply good to have our own space, and the ability to sleep, without interruptions. There are many needs on the reservations, and I see several neat opportunities to serve, but I have learned to keep my Social Media mouth shut, until things are made public.

Yet, the word of God is true – We have abandoned it all for the sake of the call, and I believe the words of Jesus:

Mark 10:

28 Then Peter began to speak up. “We’ve given up everything to follow you,” he said.

29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, 30 will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life. 31 But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then

Our daily lives make headlines in heaven: visiting the sick, preaching continually, praying without ceasing….

If you are able to help us this month, it is greatly appreciated.

Give in faith!

1 Corinthians 9:11 If we have sown [the seed of] spiritual good among you, [is it too] much if we reap from your material benefits?

1 Corinthians 9:14 [On the same principle] the Lord directed that those who publish the good news (the Gospel) should live (get their maintenance) by the Gospel.

Paul goes on to say, that he did not use his position as a minister of the gospel to take up offerings, rather he worked, making tents, to support himself. You might notice here, that Paul was not married, nor did he have children. Family responsibilities take time, and just as you bust a move on your job to provide for your family, I work every bit as hard, doing this, faithful to the Lord in prayer and the ministry of His Word, to you.

I will never charge for this: it my responsibility to God, my calling. Freely I have been given, now, I freely give…

As you give, hear Holy Spirit what to give, and honestly expect God to reward you for your giving.

Matt 10: 41 He who receives and welcomes and accepts a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones [in rank or influence] even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward.

I am a five-fold ministry gift and office – this is my life – I pray, I hear, I write, and wonderful things happen. You have your job description, I have mine – this is mine….

I have ‘see through’ faith for you, in this: Gal 3: 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

I believe I have a responsibility before God to be like Jesus, in every offering I receive. I receive it with thanksgiving, just like Jesus did the little boys lunch.

Then, because I walk and live by faith according to the blessing of Abraham, I believe that God will take your seed sown, and multiply it, according to what the blessing of Abraham promises:

Genesis 22:17 In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies

It has been a joy to me, to see the hand of the living God act in the lives of those of you who have supported us this year!

Many have seen tremendous blessing come into your households, and for this we give thanks, and give Jesus all the glory!
