The Morning Star!
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
I remember many years ago, crossing the Atlantic under sail, aboard a 65′ schooner, with 6 crew members. How as the youngest, I was given ‘morning watch’, with Jackie, a guy from Gabon, Africa, and how he would say: ‘Venooos, there is Venooos, the morning star’.
Venooos is the planet Venus, that rises in the sky in the morning, before the dawn, and for sailors in the long dark night, it was good news, the sign that the light was about to break into our darkness, day had come again.
Ps 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD’S: and he is the governor among the nations.
Ps 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
There it is, eternal rank, privilege, and authority over the nations, IF we overcome, and pay the price.
Is 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Would you draw near to Jesus as His bride, and rest your head upon His shoulder?
Would you overcome? Your own passions, desires, lusts, fears, sins, weaknesses, and press into the call and Word of God, with all of your life?
Each of us has the opportunity to overcome, our own particular hellish set of circumstances stemming from our flesh and the flesh of others, the brutality of a worldly system that can be cold, impersonal, demeaning, and soul breaking, and then there is the devil himself, constantly lurking in darkness, tempting, opposing, accusing, lying, slandering, and trying to break our heart and will, for the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Yet we are designed to overcome, to conquer, to fight yes, but not only to fight but to win, in excellency of power. In Jesus, we are more than conquerors, victors by birth, champions in the arena of life, empowered to be far more than conquerors in this fight of faith.
When we do, devils bow, and kingdoms of mere men, become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ, and we find ourselves ruling and reigning nations by the Word and Spirit of God, in this life!
There is always a people on the other side of our obedience. We fight not for ourselves, our families or even merely our churches and communities, now, nations hang in the balance in each generation, awaiting in groans of anticipation, the manifestation of the children of the most High God!
Run your race! Take your place! Grow, stretch, fight the unholy and impure, and he will give you the morning star!

‘Father, I refuse to put up, let up, or shut up, until your glory shows up, and delivers me from my own selfish and carnal ways, and the unclean tide of wickedness that would seek to drown this generation in its filth. I will walk clean, pure, holy, powerful, and under the authority of Holy Spirit, no compromise, ruling and reigning in you. In your name I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen”
